Type Scale

The type scale is a system used to organize our content and products. Each style has an application between our platform and the user experience. Below is a segment from our type scale. It contains reusable elements of text, each with an intended use.

Type Scaling

For a complete overview of our type scale, the diagram below can be referred to. This scale uses the Arial typeface for all headings, subtitles, body, and captions. This creates a cohesive typographical system for our users. Represented with varying font weights and sizes.

Logotype

The Happy Kitchen logotype uses the BC Alphapipe typeface. The size and spacing of the logotype will change depending on the application, but the weight should never be changed.

Logotype Scaling and Use

Applying The Type Scale

The type scale is used as a flexible layout to depict text attributes. These factors include the typeface, font, case, size, and letter spacing.

Applying Type Comparison

When using the type scale, headings and subtitles should be spaced 60px apart while subtitles and paragraphs are spaced 30px apart. Keep in mind each text box is left-aligned to the page.
